All the credit in the world should go to good people like Dr. Steve Carroll, who, when he isn’t serving his country overseas as an Army medic, is working with Emergency Medicine residents in Virginia and making FOAM: Free Open Access Medical Podcasts. His podcast, EM Basic, has been downloaded over 1 million times. I am extremely proud to be an occasional contributor to the show. As time allows, I hope to make a lot more of these, for Steve and anyone else who goes out there and helps people be better doctors (and also less bored at the gym, angry during the evening commute and peaceful on the plane ride).
